Est. in July 2020, MARE is an all women run music and culture zine born and based in London, United Kingdom. Founded by writer, poet, music journalist and promoter Alex Dominica, MARE is a mag dedicated to championing women and LGBTQ artists and bands in the underground music community. MARE aims to empower, nurture and curate a safe space for artists to perform in giving local artists a platform to showcase and exhibit their art.
